David Rhee, CPA, CFP, PhD
David Rhee started his firm in 2001 with the goal of delivering highly personalized tax and financial advice to his clients. He has in-depth tax and financial expertise and experience in a broad range of industry sectors such as technology, construction, health care, and retail.
David’s education includes a B.S. in Engineering from University of California at Berkeley, and both S.M. and Ph.D. degrees in Engineering from MIT, Cambridge. He also holds a M.S. in Management from Bridgewater State College.
David is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and an Enrolled Agent who is permitted to represent clients on all tax matters before the Internal Revenue Service. He is also a holder of Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.
Earlier in his career, David worked in private industry successfully assisting technology companies to develop new markets and strategic alliances between the U.S. and Asia.
David is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, the MIT Alumni Association, and UC Berkeley Engineering Alumni Association.
Married with two children – a college-aged son and a grown-up daughter – David is involved with several community activities. Besides his family, his favorite activity is spending time with his three dogs, Bella the Chihuahua, Presley the Beagle and Marcus the Great Dane!
H. Timothy Min is an in-house counsel for the firm. Mr. Min is chiefly engaged in the areas of intellectual property law, corporate law, and wills, trusts and estates law.
He is actively counseling and seeking business development for start-ups and small life science companies around the globe. He has 10 years of experience at Pfizer, Inc. as a scientist where he focused on early stage drug discovery projects such as phosphodiesterase, GPCR, Kinase Selectivity Screening and more recently RNAi.Mr. Min worked with many projects in patent strategy planning and counseling scientists for research priorities.
Mr. Min also worked for external innovation & biotherapeutic strategy area, and traveled to Asia to investigate set up foreign collaborations with internal drug discovery research programs. He worked on projects to establish collaboration with Korean Universities and biotech companies by identifying mutual research interests.
Carol Caldwell, Gwyneth Helie, Dina Gadon, and Jane Zoppo help to run the office in smooth, efficient manner. 🙂
